Introduction:
Engineering, Procurement and Contract
China Aviation Industry Gas Turbine Power (Group) Corp.(CAREC) is specialized in gas turbine power project. In 1998, CAREC was approved by the Ministry of Construction as the pilot designer and contractor of gas turbine power special project. In the early of 1990, CAREC began to construct to build gas turbine power projects in EPC. Up to date, CAREC, as a general contractor, has subsequently built Wuxi Huada, Wuxi Aes, Chengdu Aes-Kaihua and Dunhuang catang gas turbine power plants and also participated in the construction of Shenzhen Futian, HaiNan Nanshan and Wenzhou LongWan projects. CAREC has independently installed the FT8, LM6000, LM2500 and 9E and many other types of gas turbine units, and accumulated rich experience on gas turbine power plant management, equipment procurement, project scheduling control, quality guarantee, equipment commissioning and acceptance, project bidding management and operation personnel training etc. CAREC ranks in the top list in the field of gas turbine power EPC project.
Engineering Supervision
CAREC was authorized by the Ministry of Construction as the first Grade-A supervisor of gas turbine power project. CAREC has a high quality supervision team, complete quality guarantee system and corresponding specialties. CAREC has supervised YangLing, Huatugou and Sanya gas turbine power plant projects.
Design & Consultation
In July 2002, CAREC was approved by the Ministry of Construction as the first Grade-A design company in gas turbine power project. CAREC has strong strength in EPC project, feasibility research, engineering consultation and operation services. CAREC can offer customers the full-range technical consultation services on project biding, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and operation. In recent years, CAREC has successively undertaken the gas turbine explosion technical analysis of Shenzhen Meishi Power Plant and the planning and feasibility research of Shanxi Yangling gas Turbine cogeneration project. Jiangsu Xishan and Gansu Dunhuang gas turbine combined cycle power plants were subsequently honored the First Grade of Excellent Engineering Design of China Aviation Industry. CAREC, presently, is one of the expert members of China National Gas Turbine Power in" 863 Project".
Engineering Financing
CAREC has good reputation in project financing and wide financing channels. At present, CAREC has set up stable cooperative relationship with the main domestic banks and foreign-funded banks such as: CITI Bank of America and Commercial Bank of Holland and other financial institutes. CAREC has successively invested 15 projects domestically and overseas with the total amount up to 130 million Yuan and earned anticipated profit. Through cooperation with the foreign investors in Chengdu Jintang, Shenzhen Futian, Jiangsu Wuxi, Hainan Sanya and Gansu Dunhuang gas turbine power plants, CAREC achieved great success, accumulating rich experience in project review, contract negotiation, risk evaluation, financing and so on, and making out comprehensive investment project control method. The achievements settle down solid base for CAREC to expand investment on gas turbine power business. Besides of the investment on gas turbine power plant, CAREC also invests and develops windpower projects, related equipment production and other projects in energy field. With the development of gas turbine technology, gas turbines have been applied in the field of oil field and telecommunication, and attained impressive profits.
Gas Turbine Maintenance
CAREC is the earliest to engage in the gas turbine maintenance in China. In recent years, CAREC provides various technical support and maintenance services for domestic customers. The repaired & overhauled gas turbines by CAREC have been up to 45 sets, including ones made by ALSTOM of France, Ryston,R&R,JB of UK, ABB of Switzerland, LINDE of Germany, Westinghouse, GE and Pratt&Whitney of US. Upon rich experience in gas turbine maintenance, CAREC was appointed by Pratt & Whitney and Solar to dispatch CAREC'S field technical services engineers on behalf of these two foreign companies to provide technical services for the end users. The excellent work of CAREC's engineers has been appraised by the end users and equipment suppliers.
Owe to advanced and strong technology, CAREC has also achieved great development in gas turbine training. In recent years, CAREC has trained many operation and maintenance engineers for lots of domestic gas turbine power plants.
Windpower generation
CAREC takes the environmental protection and sustainable development of society as its responsibility and develops the windpower generation project. Windpower generation project office of China Aviation Industry is located at CAREC. In the "Nine-Five" Period, CAREC undertook national high-power windpower equipment localization project and invested to establish Zhonghang (Baoding) Huiteng Windpower Equipment Co. Ltd.(HT), which has the capability of producing high-power wind turbine blades, including 600KW, 750KW and 1300KW types. In addition, HT takes responsibility for the research of high-power wind turbine blades as planned in the national "ten-Five" science & technology brainstorm and "863 Project".
International Trade
CAREC has been engaging in the import and export of gas turbine facilities for many years, including the import of gas turbine packaged units, raw material used for parts production and the export of produced parts. Since 1985, CAREC has imported equipment and technology for many domestic users such as Daqing, Nanjiang and Dagang Oil Fields, and Shenzhen, Hainan, Wuxi, Chengdu, Wenzhou and Dunhuang gas turbine power plants. CAREC has imported gas turbine units, steamers, compressors, heat recovery steam boilers and generators from GE, DRESSER-RAND, Rolls & Royce and CMI for domestic users. The total amount reaches above 300 million US dollars. For parts and assembly production business, CAREC has been cooperating with Pratt & Whitney for many years and we have completed more than thirty-million-dollar-valued production orders.
